Idle Farm.

WORK IN PROGRESS

A SMALL GAME FOR THE SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN

A little farm.
A little strange.

Grandpa left you a farm.
The farmer has it handled.
The haunting? We’ll see.

An idle desktop companion that grows beside whatever you’re doing. Watch your farmer work, make a choice now and then, and let the unexpected take root.

A PERFECTLY NORMAL FARM
A sunny pixel farm with sunflower fields, paths, a pond and a busy farmer
01 / A little peace & quiet
UNTIL THE SUN GOES DOWN
The same farm at night with glowing crops, dark totems and a mysterious visitor
02 / And a few visitors
Something’s growing here.

LESS MICROMANAGEMENT. MORE LITTLE SURPRISES.

You do your thing.
He’ll do his.

Dock a narrow, always-on-top farm to either edge of your screen. Life on the farm carries on while you get on with yours.

01 / THE FARMER

A mind of his own.

He clears brambles, plants in peculiar shapes, builds fences and takes a nap when he needs one. Every farmer has his own quirk.

02 / THE RHYTHM

No rush. No wallet.

Produce becomes trinkets and keepsakes in a growing chest. Rain, sunshine, critters and visiting neighbours keep the days interesting.

03 / THE UNKNOWN

Keep an eye on the eye.

Your decisions can raise the farm’s hidden Weirdness. Glowing crops, strange relics, a voice in the well… probably nothing.

The Pale Peddler choice card offers a whispering fleshy tome or a tiny hired homunculus
A choice card from the current development build.

SMALL CHOICES. CURIOUS CONSEQUENCES.

Two options.
A different kind
of farm.

Every few minutes, a card arrives. An orchard or a pond? A helpful neighbour or something a little less ordinary?

Pick one of two options and change the farm for good. Stash a card for later, wait for the right conditions, or see where a strange bargain leads.

Some things only come out at night.
Some things would like to stay.

NOT EVERY DAY IS SUNNY

A little weather.
A little trouble.

Rain waters the fields. Heatwaves test them. Thunderstorms can start fires, and the farmer knows when to run indoors. A lightning rod might be a good idea.
